WHAT'S MY SIZE?
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR HEAD
THE MEASURING TAPE METHOD
What you need:
- Measuring tape
- A mirror or someone to assist you
Instructions
- Starting at the centre of your forehead, wrap a tape measure around your head, resting slightly above your eyebrows (about an inch). Measuring from the most prominent part of your head is recommended.
- Keep a firm hold of the end point; where the end of the tape measure meets the centre of your forehead.
- Record this measurement from your measuring tape.
- Find the corresponding size on the hat sizing chart above.
The RIBBON/STRING METHOD
What you need
- A long ribbon or string
- A ruler
- A mirror or someone to assist you
Instructions
- Starting at the centre of your forehead, wrap a ribbon or string snugly around your head, resting slightly above your eyebrows (about an inch).
- Place the string above your ears, covering the most prominent part on the back of your head.
- Keep a firm hold of the end point, where the end of the ribbon or string meets the centre of your forehead. Mark the material with a pen where it meets.
- Measure the length with a ruler to compare against the size in our hat sizing chart above.
GENERAL TIPS
- Take multiple measurements to confirm your sizing. Size multiple times on different days as your body swells and shrinks daily.
- Make sure when using the methods above that the measuring tape or ribbon does not wrap too loose or too tight around your head. Your hat should have a snug but comfortable fit.
- If your measured size is in between sizes on the hart sizing guide, go up to the larger size.
